Dinghy Owners: Revised East Slip Policy
Nasim sent the following message to the club:
Dear Members! We would like to provide some clarification regarding the East docks and dinghy storage in that area. Starting with the 2024 season, the rental and assignment of East slips have been eliminated in favor of sharing the space to accommodate more dinghy owners. Consequently, the rental price has been reduced from $550 to $420. East slips will no longer be assigned to individual members. Instead, available slips are to be shared among dinghy owners who pay for the privilege of storing their vessels in the water. To reiterate: Slips are no longer assigned and cannot be reserved. If your dinghy is tied on the inside of a slip and there is a boat behind you, please kindly rearrange the boats and secure everything properly before leaving. I would add that if you are paying $250 to store your dinghy, you should not be storing it in the water but on the dock itself. And everything, always, is of course dependent on availability. Check with the bridge before assuming.
