Dexter's housekeeping notice
As the season ramps up there is a lot of wonderful activity at the club. I'm sending on a couple of notes for your immediate attention.
Twice in the past week Carlos has arrived to find the sliding door in the dayroom unsecured. If you are the last one out please be sure ALL entrances are secure.
The thermostat in the dayroom is locked for a reason. Please do not lever it open to adjust heating to your needs. It has been found turned off (not safe in the winter) and left on at 80 degrees (expensive always).
Additionally, Carlos will be away this weekend for a family event. Please do your part to leave the place cleaner than you found it.
We will have many visitors in the next couple of weeks. The ballroom is fully occupied by race teams and the press corps. In general, I think it is best to avoid the area to allow them to focus on the arriving boats.
LAST NOTE: Please don't forget that our number one PRIORITY IS SAFETY. Always use your PFDs, move cautiously and communicate clearly in and around the waterfront.
Thanks for your attention to these items. Dexter
